The Journal of Microscopy will be hosting two author workshops at IMC 2014 in Prague.

Entitled 'How to get your paper published in the Journal of Microscopy', the workshops are open to all future journal authors interested in learning about how to publish their next paper in the Journal of Microscopy, and will be especially valuable for students and young scientists at the beginning of their careers, as well as those who have not yet published an article in the Journal of Microscopy.

The workshops will be taking place in Meeting Hall II on Monday 8th September 17:45-19:15 and Tuesday 9th September 09:30-11:00.

2014 marks the 175th Anniversary of the Royal Microscopical Society. We would be delighted if you would join us to celebrate the anniversary at an evening reception as part of IMC 2014 in Prague.

The Royal Microscopical Society has a rich history of producing relevant and engaging microscopy publications. From the original Handbook Series to the new collaboration with Wiley Publishing and the long established Journal of Microscopy.

Taking place on Tuesday 9 September from 6.30 - 8pm in the Zoom Restaurant at the Prague Congress Centre, the reception will be also be an ideal opportunity to find out more about the Journal of Microscopy, explore ideas for articles and meet other authors, editors and contributors.
